NRL – Manly SeaEagles wins the 2008 Grand Final!

The Manly SeaEagles have done it! They have just beaten the Melbourne Storm in the 2008 Grand Final!

The final score was Manly SeaEagles: 40 versus Melbourne Storm: 0.
(Note: The last NRL Grand Final whitewash occurred in 1978 when the Cronulla Sharks failed to score.)

Originally I backed the Melbourne Storm to win but during the week, we saw Craig Bellamy scoring a $50,000 fine for the team and a looming lawsuit from the NRL judiciary so it must have dealt him hard psychologically.

Congratulations to the Manly SeaEagles for a truely phenomenal grand final performance!
