Relay For Life 2009 – Statistics

The ACT Relay For Life 2009 Event has concluded for another year. Overall it was an amazing event which saw participation from over 2,000 people!

From a personal viewpoint I did heaps better than last year with a record of 100 laps – that’s 40km in 24 hours! Team PhyZeek had an official lap record of around 550 for running and over 1,200 for walking. In terms of distance, it means Team PhyZeek would have walked the distance of Canberra to the Gold Coast. Truly phenomenal.

In terms of fundraising, Team PhyZeek raised $5,032 which was above our target of $5,000.

Check out the PhyZeek website [http://www.phyzeek.com.au] in the forthcoming days for photos and blog about the event and our photo with Shannan Ponton from The Biggest Loser.
